MR: LOSE DRIVE CHECKS!!

Imma just make sure you don't drive check okay? Oh you're X-gallop? Happy Twin Drive~~

Finally, we have a card that makes your opponents vanguard lose Drive Checks (Dueling Dragon Emperor, ZANGEKI). All you have to do is make sure you have a copy of Dueling Dragon, ZANBAKU in your soul at the beginning of your opponents Main Phase and for Counter Blast 1, your opponents Vanguard gets a new skill where, "When it attacks, if your opponent does not discard a card from his or her hand, your opponents vanguard will lose 2 Drive Checks" until end of turn. This hurts things that gain extra drive like Great Daikaiser or X-Gallop since they will either be brought down to 1 or 2 drive checks which actually hurts everyone since you'' only get 1 extra card if you discard and the drive check is your main source of adding cards to your hand. So if that were to be taken away from you, its like your vanguard being paralysed (except you can still attack).
Oksizzs' Inspiration
ZANGEKI has another skill which is pretty good. What he does is for Counter Blast 1, you can retire himself and call two of ZANBAKU to RG and at the end of that turn, you can add them back to hand which helps if you want to make your opponent discard one to ride a card. This forces your opponent into a Discard = Lose Drive or Discard = No Ride type of game which can get pretty dangerous. Anyway that was all for this post, I feel like I didn't say much but I shall see you all in the next post whatever that may be.

Megacolony English Keyword

This'll just be a short post. Megacolony has their keyword in English which is <Dark Device>, sounds so good!! Anyway, so with that, more Megacolony, Murakumo and Great Nature support should be revealed soon, so as usual, I will be doing reviews on the Cards and more likely give my verdict about how I think the card is. I'm definitely not a professional at describing how cards go and how they can be used to the best of their ability but I shall try at least. I shall see you all in the next post whatever that may be.

New Giraffa Support -G Technical Booster 2 +Keyword

I don't know what I hate more. The fact that my unit will get paralysed, or the fact I can't do anything about it without losing something else!

First suopport for Megacolony has hit G-TCB02 with a vengeance. This card is called "A Class Mutant, Sun Giraffa" no wonder he is A Class! What he does is, when he hits a vanguard, if you have a grade 3 or greater vanguard with Giraffa, you are able to rest one of your opponents units and it gains a nasty skill. If that unit you rested is sent to the drop zone from either Rearguard or Guardian circle, the opponent has to choose a rearguard and retire it. What's even worse is that it is Paralysed and also that new skill can hit resist units since it is your opponents own effect now. This is only for Counter Blast 1! You can get rid of that unit by time leaping or by returning to hand or sending it to the bottom of the deck (or basically any other method that doesn't require killing it, like discarding from hand), so most of the time, your opponent will waste some resource to deal with that skill but he or she won't be able to call it since it'll just stop the Paralyse, not the skill, which isn't a bad idea since the gained skill only lasts till the end of your opponents turn (like lock). Regardless this skill does hurt quite a bit and this is just the first of many Megacolony cards to be revealed. Watch out, they are scheming something very big.

Also they have their keyword <Secretscheme> which activates when there no standing rearguards on your opponents side of the field in the same column as one of your units with that keyword. So Megacolony is going to be more dangerous. You thought G-BT04 megacolony was bad enough? Prepare to be wrong... We have been warned

Lauris Stride Finally Revealed + Showcase Of Some Wedding SP Cards

I never used to like how Lauris looked. Now I regret that. She look cute AF!!!! Her name is Celebrate Voice, Lauris.

Well, the wait is finally over and we have the GR/SGR/SP/WSP of Blessing Of Divas. Boi I tell you if she is going to be priced for what she does and her rarities. No body can buy her. Anyway, on with the effect. She has the Harmony ability and her main skill is GB 2. What her main skill does is, for a Counter Blast of just one and a G Blast, you can return up to the same amount of rearguards as there are Face Up G Units back to your hand, which is nice. Also, if ALL of your units are singing together (in Harmony), Lauris gains a new skill where "When she attacks, she is basically Miracle Voice, Lauris' GB 2 except instead of giving two units +5000 power, you give three and she goes critical. At first glance I thought this was really bad, but being the Bermuda Player I am, I looked deep to see how good she really is. First, you give ANY unit +5000 power so it's good it is not restricted to harmony units.... Wait... Giving three units +5000...... SHE IS BASICALLY RIVIERE THAT GAINS CRIT!!!!!!!!!! F*** YOU LAURIS! HOW DARE YOU STEAL MY WIFES EFFE.... I'm sorry. My Avatar of Bermuda is Riviere and unfortunately Lauris basically took her effect and made it better by gaining one crit. Does this mean Riviere is getting supported?? YAAAY!!!
.
.
.
.
.
.
Anyway. She gives +5000 power to any unit, so you could increase a column by 5000, still have enough 5000 to give for either herself or another unit and if you use the starter (the one I talked about in the last post I think) the front row gains +3000, so if you use Lauris' effect on the entire front row, she gives a +8000 which is sweet. The only thing I wanted from Lauris was that all your units in Harmony gain +5000. In my opinion that would be more rewarding than just Three, but i'll take what we get. Also, it's too easy to harmonise everyone so I guess this effect is kinda an end game push since you'll more likely use those cards I mentioned last post to have like 38k columns. So that's like a total of 117k power in total with an extra crit going towards Lauris. What's bad about this card is that she has to attack with her first if you want the maximum potential of this card. So for Lauris Stride, you basically have to hope you don't get a stand trigger (unless you want to use that new stand Amelia, which is totally fine. I like her). In a way this girl reminds me of Sanctuary of Light, Planetal Dragon.
This card was good. Basically a Sanctuary Guard Dragon that instead of gaining 3k for each Grade 1 less rearguard. This guy give 3k to all Sanctuary of Lights.
But if you run 12 crit in the Lauris deck (like I will) you won't need to worry about wasting your stand triggers. All in all, you will use other cards to bounce and call rearguards that give you extra attacks. If you think about it, you can bounce rearguards and make sure not to boost your first attackers and make sure you have two rearguards ready for another attack, then attack with Lauris to give them +5000 which gives your opponent a bad time.

Anyway that was all for this post and hope you enjoyed reading. Here are some W-SP cards for you guys.

We have them all! I CAN'T TAKE THIS!!! THEY ARE ALL SO LIFE ENDINGLY CUTE!!!!! I just want them all ;-; They are all so GOLDEN!!

It's A Bird, It's A Plane. No, It's The Mermaids' EXPLOSIVE Power!!

Could it be? Early power by doing something simple? So, this set of Bermuda Triangle seem to be all about power gain and replenishing the Counter Blast for next to no cost. All this girl, named Monotone Innocence, Yuka, has to do to give units other than her +1000 Power is that she has to be in Harmony. Seems so easy, 1k might not seem like much, but believe me, with these units at your disposal and you have a column that you could only ever dream of. I have a feeling i'm not going enjoy writing about these girls...

This girl could paint your demise with your blood... Or your tears whatever works for her.
This girl, Tidal Art, Marie, has the ability Harmony of course, however, what she does with the Harmony is pretty good. As in G3 Palamedes and Toypugal 22k column good. We all know how that column was back in the day. So carrying on with her skill, Generation Break, by Soul Blasting 1, if this little lady is in Harmony you can give a unit in the same column as her +4000 power. Her continuous skill, if you have a unit named "One Stroke Art, Carla" in the same column as her, she always becomes an 8k rearguard. Combined with Yuka and she is 9k at all times! Talk about being a G2 at the right time!
I'm using black as my main colour for my next painting! The same colour As My SOUL. *insert cute noises* Where do I start? Her continuous skill is, If you have Tidal Art, Marie in the same column as her, she is 10k at all times. Her main skill, when she attacks, if she is in harmony, she gains +4000. What is this column of Marie and Carla at now? 26k column? Yeah about that. Anyway this girl is death reincarnated. But she is pretty fun to use it seems. So now Bermuda has their best column now! RIP Opponents hand.

POWER!! POWER UP TO THE NEXT STAGE!!! Hopefully this is the last unit I talk about in this post of Mermaid Power. I thought these mermaids loved the audience, not trying to murder them... Anyway. She is a G0 which is pretty good at setting things up. Harmony, Generation Break, by Putting Her Into Your Soul when another of your Bermuda Triangle rearguards is bounced, you Counter Charge 1 then you give your vanguard an ability where, if it is in harmony, all the units in your front row gains +3000 power. I... I can't take this anymore... I'm actually really scared and terrified of all the Bermuda Triangle support, Kagero please burn these units to ASH! Actually, pls don't I need my Waifu Power deck... So this has been a post about how powerful Bermuda Triangle is in this set, and the set isn't even finished yet. I can't wait to see what other units are revealed and I wonder what Lauris does if she puts Olyvia as a R!! Can't be too fun for your opponent i'm imagining. As long as Lauris doesn't restand I will be fine. Or power gain but that seems more likely.

Anyway, my fear has prevented me from writing anymore so this is my post. I will see you all in the next post whatever that may be. BYE

More Counter Charge! More... Waifu!!

Good looks. Are. Everything! I think.. I feel like I have seen something like this card before..
I think the only other card that has her... look was Mermaid Idol, Felucca and oh god did that get views... Anyway. This girls name is <<Magical Charge, Vita>> and I can see why she is so Magical.. Okay i'll stop... Her effect, Generation Break, with a Soul Blast and by returning her to your hand you can call a grade one or less card from your hand to RG, and if you have a Grade 4 vanguard, Counter Charge 1. What I find interesting is that she has the harmony ability however her effect doesn't require her to be in harmony. Meaning this card sets up for units that require to be in harmony or by some other means. Bermuda Triangle does have an issue of Counter Blasting too much and because this helps the whole clan, I think this card may see plays in some decks, more likely somehow being added in a Lauris. So, that was all for today and I will see you in the next post whatever that may be.

Finally!! Amazing Duo Counter Charger

Mermaids with Cat ears??? HOW ADORABLE!!! What's more adorable is how this card has probably just saved some of Duos issues about Counter Charging more than just the card they use to Counter Blast. With a Soul Blast of one, when this young Mermaid Neko is returned to your hand in the battle phase from RG, as long as you have a Duo vanguard you can Counter Charge 1. What's better is that if you reveal three copies of her from your hand, you can Counter Charge yet ANOTHER card! This simply allows more Counter Blast for other units such as Peace, Rhode, Olyvia and even Meer BreakRide! Since this unit has to be returned back to your hand during battle phase, you can only do this by using Meer BreakRide, Olyvia, Rhode and other units that return other units during battle (obviously) but this means that you can easily add another copy of her using those cards effects to easily be able to replenish the Counter Blast you used to return this girl back to your hand and be able to unflip one more damage ready for another unit to use. With this I'm definitely sure Duos will have no problem about using Counter Blast too excessively. Now, the only problem is making space for this unit which will be pretty hard since Duos' have their Grade 1 line up just fine with Peace, PG, Kura/Kazuha and Cikola. Maaaaan!!! Whyyyy?

Anyway, that was all and so I will see you all in the next post whatever that may be. Byeee

Bermuda Harmony PG -Miracle Twin Tail, Wiz

Drop a card for a PG? Sure! Bermudas' Keyword PG has been revealed. Yay! So happy and I like her. Basically what she does is, she is your normal PG (only blocking for your vanguard), she also has a Skill that activates only when she is in harmony. At the end of each turn, by Discarding a card from your hand, you are able to return her to your hand. It's nice because Bermuda usually has a big hand and there are cards you don't want to guard with so you can just drop that card and have this PG return to your hand. It's nice and simple, i'm definitely sure you can combo this with other units that have "When your other rearguard is returned to hand" and also Bermudas' G Guard which I will talk about in a later post. Loving the SP art though~~

So that was all for this post, hope you enjoyed reading and I will see you all in the next post whatever that may be.

Top 5 Strides From FC2016

Hello everyone. This will be my main blog for when I want to talk about Cardfight Vanguard things (mostly Bermuda Triangle because Bermuda is love, Bermuda is life). Also I am pretty new at this stuff so please forgive me when I make basic mistakes and I am not used to writing about cards in such detail so I may stuff up from time to time, but I will get better! For my first post here, I will be going through my top 5 stride units from FC2016. First I will talk about an honorable mention.

Honorable Mention:  "Meteokaiser, Bustered"

Want a tiny bit of aggression to go along with your power? Here is Bustered to hint the answer to that question. One of Nova Grapplers best first stride (along with Tribrut) demonstrates just how aggressive Nova Grappler can be on their first stride. With a CB of 1 and a G Blast (turning any unit from the G Zone face down to face up) when he attacks, for each copy of him face up in the G Zone, you get a stand a unit. Combined with Victors' Stride skill and you have up to two units ready to launch another assault. This combination works really good at getting your opponent to drop some hand just for the three attacks. Even then he has yet another skill which is gained when you stand two or more rearguards by his effect (not including Victors stride skill). If you have five rearguards, for CB 1 and Discarding 2, you are able to stand Bustered back up. This is the part that I deemed too situational to be able to pull off. You need to have five rearguards to activate his full effect. You basically need to maintain your rearguards to have the required 5 RG therefore losing cards from your hand. Or you need to call units from your hand to have 5 RG, either way you lose hand. If you are able to, congrats but if you are up against something like Kagero and they use Lizard Soldier, Bellog to guard, they get to kill your rested RG and that makes Bustered unable to stand back up and you also may lose an attacker for when you use Bustereds' main skill which would hurt their formation, you would then realise that guarding for your rearguards was a waste of time, however this is only for Kagero and other units that kill opponents rearguards during their opponents turn. To me, you'd only want to use Bustered to stand units back up which is still amazing. If you want to use his Stand Himself skill, something like Victoplasma is a better option for G Unit Standing.

Overall Assessment: A Great First Stride

Now that we have that one out of the way, it's time to head into the top 5 strides. Keep in mind that this is in my opinion.

Number 5: "Rebellious Retainer of Fresh Blood, Frederick"

Gaining 10'000 power really makes it worth while with Frederick! By just putting one card from your hand to the soul, Frederick is able to become Amon (Gaining 1k for each card in the soul), and if the total power had increased by 10'000, your front row rearguards gain 5'000. So... How do you feel like dropping 4 cards from your hand in total for just the rearguards? I definitely don't want to. Want to use a PG for the Vanguard and still have to deal with the RG? I want none of that. All your rearguard columns turn into a 21k line and at minimum a 43k Vanguard attack? Say bye bye to your opponents' hand if they don't have a PG or if they don't have an Oracle Think Tank-like hand. What's worse for your opponent is that because Dark Irregulars now need 15 cards in the soul for most of their abilities to fully activate, you'll be looking at maybe 30k+ columns with Frederick? Great as a first stride since Darks usually have like 8-10 in their soul when they stride. Watch out for these guys as they will try take their place in the meta very soon. Tetsu be happy about this one.

Overall Assessment: If This Card Gave Glory Skills, We All Dead. Awesome Stride.

Number 4: "Demon Sea Queen, Maread"

Power gain by calling? What's next? Units gain skills by being called? ...Oh yeah... They do... With A CB of 1, a G Blast and a Discard of 1, you are able to call units from your drop zone equal to the amount of face up Mareads in the G Zone (total of 3) that are also a total of grade 4 or less. So you can call 2 Grade 2's since it equals a total of grade 4, which adds around 18k to Maread. What makes this good is that you can call 2 Grade 2's and still call a Grade 0 because it has 0 as a grade and won't increase or decrease the grade total of units you call. Do you want your field back from the get go? Thank you Maread! Combining with Nightrose and you can get a total of 4 units back and they all increase power in some way. Your opponent had better not take out your best units because they are coming back and giving power to the vanguard. Also, thanks to the Discard cost, you can also use a card from your hand as fuel for power gain for Maread. As if Granblue wasn't bad enough. Too bad this wasn't a "When this unit attacks a Vanguard" Skill... But this does or may set up for your next stride which is like amazing!

Overall Assessment: Excellent As First Stride.

Number 3: "Divine Knight of Rainbow Brocade, Clotenus"

No cards in my hand? No rearguards? No problem. Clotenus having Brave is a pretty nice thing since if you use this unit, you'd wanna save your rearguards to kick off his GB3 skill. His first skill is Brave which is activated when you have 3 or less cards in your hand, for a CB, a Soulblast of 1 and a G Blast you are able to call grade 2 units from your deck equal to the amount of face up Clotenus in the G Zone. With this (and the amount of calling Royal Paladin does) you will basically have a full field in no time and what's better is that nothing can stop this (yet). Also, Clotenus gains a GB3 skill which gives him 10'000 power and +1 Critical. Like, try and stop these next attacks especially when my vanguard is going critical! It is basically easy to say "I have no Rearguards" to "I have to stop calling Rearguards" thanks to Clotenus. I think that this is the Stride that could make any Royal Paladin deck happy since I've used this card in my Jewel Knight deck and has worked out so well. I think this is a really funny card to use against something like Kagero, you'll have no rearguards, they'll laugh but cry as they watch you stride into Clotenus and wish that they could burn units when they are called (Bushi pls make that a thing).

Overall Assessment: Royal Paladins Can Now Confidently Laugh At Kagero. Superb Stride.

Number 2: "Genesis Dragon, Troll Trans-else Messiah"

What's that? I have all my units locked? Mind checking the field again? I find this card so funny in many ways. Oh no. My units are Omega Locked and my opponent has Glendios! Whatever shall I--- Stride Trans-else Messiah, now you have locked units! Trololololololol. Oh no. My locked units are gonna be retired and my opponent will draw 6 cards. If only there was a way to get myself out of--- Stride Tran-else Messiah. NOW LOOK WHO'S GONNA DRAW FROM UNLOCKED UNITS!!! Seriously, I'm not a Link Joker player (yet) and even I know how stupid this card can be. As a Generation Break 2 card, for CB 1 and a G Persona Blast, when this unit is placed on VG, you basically switch the board around. Let's say you have 3 locked units, 2 unlocked and your opponent has the same amount, both you and your opponents locked cards will be unlocked, but their cards that were previously unlocked becomes locked. I know, Lock-ception is strong with this one but to put it simply, with this card. Locked Cards = Unlock and Unlock = Locked. I'm already sick and tired of hearing lock. Best Messiah stride, it really doesn't matter how much units you get to unlock because you can still use Alter Egos' stride skill to lock your own and lock your opponents card. This card is good at potentially setting up for something like Excelics or Amnesty. Such a troll card in a Link Joker Star-Vader vs Link Joker Messiah match. I love it.

Overall Assessment: Love This Stride! So Much.

Finally, we are at number one. I would like to say again that this is my first time doing this but with my knowledge of most modern cards, I should be a decent reviewer or whatever I may be doing. Expect more of this kind of stuff, Deck Profiles and just Cardfight in general.
Now, it is time to reveal my Number 1 stride for FC2016.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Number 1: "Flower Princess of Perpetual Summer, Verano"

Before I go even further, dat ass, yeah yeah *currently is definitely not nosebleeding* but besides that. Want those annoying rearguards to grow out of the ground? No? Too bad. For Soul Blast 1, a G Blast and by sending a card from your hand and drop zone back into the deck when she is placed on VG, you are able to call two units from your hand to RG and then you choose the same amount of RGs' as there are face up Verano in the G Zone and you are able to call up to one of those units from your deck to RG. Think that's mediocre? Well. The units you call also gain Boost! Look at my Grade 3 just wanting to be cloned and be given the boost ability. Also you can still activate Ahshas' stride skill after Verano or Verano after Ahsha. This card makes heaps of plays it is almost unbearable. I'll just call Grade 2 units and give them boost. Oh? They don't need boost because they are Greenshot Elf? True but I still bloom them. Prepare yourself for massive power. I have this wild feeling that Neo Nectar will sprout its way to the top (Sprout? Get it? No? okay.). I do love how you can recycle a trigger from your hand and drop zone and just call an entirely different unit. I could literally write a paragraph about how much I love this card (not just because she looks nice) and what she can do. I better not...

Overall Assessment: LOVE 100/1. Watch Your Minions Grow!

So that was my first post on this Blog. I hope you all enjoyed reading it and I will look forward to seeing you all in my next post whatever that may be. Bye!
