OVERVIEW
So basically, since all of the main deck cards are not Generation Break restricted, this deck is based around early game rush and makes the best use out of the cards who can extra power by encouraging you to early rush your opponent and so you don't lose much advantage in doing so. The main focus of the deck is to limit your opponents hand by a fair amount before finishing it all off with "Legendary Idol, Riviere". There are strides which takes advantage of Riviere's 10k heart base and provides the same kind of pressure that Riviere has. I feel like I have said enough for you guys/girls to grasp an idea of how this deck works, so on to the actual deck profile

Review - Grade 0
The choice of Bermuda Cadet, Rivi is pretty obvious cause this is a ride chain after all. Right now I am testing this trigger lineup. I might change it to 8 crit 4 draw just to add the pressure that this deck already dishes out. 4 heals cause 4 heals
Grade 1
- Using the Mermaid Rivi is obvious cause Ride Chain. She is also a nice 7k booster so there is that too.
- Deciding to use 3 Courage as a backup just in case I don't get Mermaid Rivi (but for some reason she always comes to my hand) instead of the 4 is just because if I did use 4, something else would have to go and I don't want to not use Shizuku or Aika. She is just in here for the backup really.
- I chose to use Shizuku because the aim of this deck is to get all Top Idol Rivi's to my hand as fast as possible because I really want them to be in my hand and not anywhere else so then I can use Spica for striding unless I go into Madew, in which case it doesn't matter what G3 I use.
- I use Aika to build the 5 Rivi soul limit set for this deck, she is also a good way to try and refresh my hand if I have a crappy card in my hand that I can't use (e.g. Spica after I have used my Legendary Rivi) for whatever reason. She also helps out cause most of the time she will just be a 7k booster. Shizuku is more effective at boosting and for the overall purpose of staying on the field, however Aika is necessary to get the soul.
- I use Wyz because: A) She is budget friendly, and B) She's nice cause she has Harmony. Everyone knows what she does (hopefully) so yeah.
Not much to really say about the Grade 1 selection cause the choices are pretty straightforward and so are their effects. Onto the Grade 2.

Grade 2
- 4 of Super Rivi is obvious because ride chain and frankly she is one of the best attackers I have and I can rely on since it's vanilla on rearguard, she will only serve to be a 9k attacker.
- I use 3 of Dreaming Step because it is early game which is what this deck supports and also she has a harmony ability which allows me to potentially fetch a Riviere from the top 5 and on top of that, she becomes a 14k attacker if you use her skill, which for early game, a 21k columns is usually gonna get through. Pitching the Spica for the cost is definitely what you wanna do. I thought about using the Pearl Sisters but that doesn't help my G1 spots so yeah. Also, the Pearl Sisters don't get power so that's also another reason why I don't use them.
- My last G2 spot is Meylene as she is super effective whenever you call her cause (provided everything goes well) no matter what, her effect will kick off providing an 11k on hit pressure card (which for early game, doesn't even matter cause nothing costs a CB). It's nice because an 18k column early game has a more or less 50% chance of hitting because no one wants to guard early but at the same time, no one wants more than 3 damage at the early stages of the game. Also, everything is being calculated without triggers, so imagine if you got a trigger and both your rearguard columns are the way they should be! Your opponent might be in trouble when you hit G3. Some more things to add is that this isn't really Rivi ride chain restricted so-to-speak so you can throw this girl in the Rivi/Trois build which doesn't generally use the G0/G1 Rivi so those of you who use that build can throw this girl in without any backdraws (unless you don't have Super Idol on VG/Soul). In that kind of build, I'd say this card is like really amazing cause it refuels the cost that G0 Shizuku has so you can add a G3 to hand and hope Meylene hits so that you essentially didn't use any CB to search. This also helps out with Trois' big Legion restand cost of CB3. So there is that too.
With all this talk about the Grade 3's, let's talk about my G3 selections.

With all this talk about the Grade 3's, let's talk about my G3 selections.
Grade 3
- Using 4 of my favorite Bermuda Triangle mermaid is an absolute necessity in this deck that is based all around her. Her on hit pressure is really nice and it might worry your opponent cause they don't know if you have one in hand or not (unless revealed by some means) and thus may make them guard for it. Which then they still have rearguards to deal with. In some games, I almost won because my opponent let her hit and I used her persona blast which caused me to have 23k and/or 28k columns in which he/she had to guar with everything they had to survive. Rivi is like without a doubt my favorite Bermuda deck which is why I was hoping for good support this year but unfortunately we didn't really get that (unless you play Rivi/Trois) so eh. We got things. Not terrific things but pretty decent things.
- I use Spica honestly just to use her as stride fodder although her non-GB skill has proved to be really good. Other than the few reasons stated, I have no use for Spica and shall wait patiently for a Rivi G3 which kicks ass!!! Time to get into the final part: The G4's!

Grade 4
- Using the 1 Madew is nice because you don't want to stride into it twice since it basically becomes a bad stride compared to what else you could have done. I use it to take advantage of Rivi's 10k heart base which allows me to pitch any G3 and simply get it back to my hand again. It's a nice card which basically says "You just strode without really paying a cost so :3 have fun next turn being able to stride!" and it's nice. This card will be dead as soon as my girl gets a new G3 form which may also make me change my main deck a little bit. Maybe increasing Shizuku by one and reducing Courage by one as well. Who knows? All I can do right now is wait patiently for next year.
- The 1 Valancher is like super amazing in this deck. I just can't stress enough how important it is to at least throw one Valancher in this deck cause it takes advantage of Rivi's 10k base potentially even better than Madew does. I mean, for a CB1 you get to draw a card and gain +5000 power becoming a 30k attacker AND if it hits, you get to add a heal from your drop zone into your hand to allow you to G guard more times than you potentially could. It's almost like it's made for Rivi because it almost has the same things she does: Draw and gain power while being an On-hit pressure. This card has worked out fantastically in my deck and will probably never be leaving this deck ever.
- I chose to use Elprina instead of Amoris because of her SB cost. Sometimes, I will have cards in my soul that I want to get rid of and this girl is how I do that. Being a main phase bouncer also really helps to reuse skills like Aika and Shizuku's so I can do more things. I would use more of her but there are better strides than Elprina that bounce as well. Elprina is a pretty good card in this kind of deck.
- SO YOU ALL SHOUKD KNOW WHY I USE 4 LEGENDARY RIVI!!! LIKE SHE IS MY FAV STRIDE AND I WISH WE COULD HAVE A MAX 4 USES OF HER RATHER THAN JUST 2 OMG WHY YOU DO THIS BUSHI?! Anyway, my favorite Mermaid got a stride (as if no one knew before now, I made a whole blog about it and how happy I was) in the form of an absolutely scary Mermaid. How scary?! *ahem* So potentially, she can give all rearguards +5000 power and she herself can allow you to draw and gain +10000 power and +1 critical. YEAH! JUST FOR CB1 AND PERSONA BLAST (*crying*)! LIKE OMG WHAT IS NOT TO LOVE?! She is generally used to wrap up games, since, like, 26-28k rearguard columns and a 49k +1 crit VG column is no joke. On the off chance that they do survive your first Rivi, you always have a second one and that should clear everything up. Forking out a shield of around 100k twice in a row is no laughing matter. My favorite Mermaid of all time I swear.
- Using 2 of Ange thinking about it is kinda weird but at the same time, it's not like I can't use 2 Ange. It's more of a Mythical Hellsky Fenrir situation where you use 2 but you aim to kill them the first time you use it. For a CB2 and a G Blast (thank god), you basically get to return cards to your or your opponents hand regardless if they were locked or not since this girl bypasses lock completely. She gains +5000 for each card returned and if you returned 5 then you get a draw and if it was 7, you gain +1 drive. A 67k VG column with Quadruple drive? More like, PG or die (Which is why I am thinking of making this deck 8 crit)! There is two in here just in case your opponent PG's all your Rivi's and your first Ange. More or less they would have PG'ed for something else as well *cough* for the card coming up next *cough*. Ange is a really good card and doesn't hurt this deck one bit since the only main deck CB'er really is Riviere because I never wanna see Spica on my RG ever! Meylene can CC so ye! Anyway, time for the last Stride!
- Celebrate Lauris is in here because of all the Harmony units I use. While she really is just Fav Girl on attack, the extra crit doesn't hurt at all and may become a 'PG or die' card. Having all units in Harmony in this deck isn't hard at all since I use Wyz just in case G1 Shizuku isn't in my hand. This girl turns the RG columns into a 23k attack line and the VG a 37k. Now imagine this situation! (To be honest this is probably what really happened)
Lauris: Look at me Riviere! I bounce units, support Harmony, give power to three units better than what you can do AND I gain a crit! How's that?!
Riviere: .... *Gives all rearguards +5000 power, draws a card and goes 10k/+1 crit creating a massive 49k VG pressure column, generating a +1 and makes 28k RG columns* ... :3
Lauris: :0
Riviere *NEW G3 INTENSIFIES*
Riviere got justice in the end UwU. Not that there is anything wrong with Lauris. Lauris is a very good staple in all decks that use at least 3 units with Harmony and can potentially push for game. It's just Riviere does it a lot better now and it's (for the majority) Riviere restricted, however you can throw this girl in any deck since this is an "If you have three or more face up G zone cards" not a "Then, if" card. SO EVERYONE CAN ENJOY WHAT MY FAV GIRL HAS TO OFFER!!! Let's all spread the love for Riviere to everyone!
Now we are done with Strides. It's time for G Guardians!
G Guardians
- 2 of Blessed Sparkle is like, the usual in all Bermuda decks since she is like one the best G guards ever made. She supports Bermuda's massive hand advantage to a whole new level. It also really helps in Riviere since the Riviere archetype is mainly about drawing cards (technically G0, G1/G2 and G4 can all draw cards) and going for early rush. On top of that, if you are 5k short from successfully guarding, she got you covered because for a CB1 you can gain 5k shield! What is not to love about Sandy? Seriously!
- Next G Guard I use is Hand in Hand, Leona (or for some reason, I like to call her Marriage Proposal since, WSP and all). She isn't bad for keeping your rearguards safe by being able to return any of them to your hand but she forces you call a card from hand to GC if you do return a RG. If you call the same unit you returned back to hand to the GC then you add +5000 shield to it, meaning you can even guard with G3's! She is a nice G guard which is fine as a one of.
- I use 1 of Sailor's Medley, Nasha for now cause she is gonna be replaced with Pallfy soon enough. Nasha isn't bad but Pallfy is an Ichibyoshi clone which is almost too perfect in Bermuda. Nasha shows your opponent what you have in hand which isn't always a good thing.
- Last thing to go over is Highest Society, Citron. She is a very nice card with an easy +10k shield requirement. All you have to do to gain it is call a G1 or higher from hand to RG. Easy! She fills up your field ready for next turn and can also do some Harmony combos as well! A very nice card.
Something I should also mention is me not using Final Priscila. I'm pretty sure I should use her, however I have been fine without her so I'm not too sure if I should add her in or not. She is so perfect for wrapping up games since she is almost exactly like Celebrate Lauris and Riviere had a child and called it Priscila (except lose the VG power and crit). It pretty much does exactly what Riviere can do so I'm really not too happy about Priscila but the extra attacks is super good. The discard cost doesn't hurt too much and having to stack all triggers to VG means your basically screwed relying on triggers if they PG Priscila (but at this point in the stage. HOW?! Unless Esras or something like that). Not much to say.
End of Profile - Final Comments
So with that being said. Riviere is my favorite Bermuda deck right now and that will not change! Right now I am testing Chouchou and may do a deck profile on that too if I find the right playstyle for me. Anyway! I'm basically done with the deck profile. I hope you all enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing about Rivi! See you all in the next blog post :3!
