Riviere's stride form was revealed yesterday as well as her full effect and some support! I would have done this yesterday but I was too busy squealing to write this post. Like OH MY GOD!!! THIS IS ALMOST EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!!!!!! So basically

"ACT [VG] 1/TURN [Counter-Blast 1, Choose a face down G unit with the same card name as this unit] (unfortunately :'( but makes sense). Choose up to the same number of your rearguards as the number of cards with "Riviere" in their card names, they get +5000 power until end of turn. If you have three or more face up cards in your G zone, draw a card, and this unit gets +10000 power and +1 Critical until end of turn."

THIS IS A GOOD SKILL ALRIGHT!! While the cards in your soul with "___" in its card name is Corals' thing, it is fine since they are both ride chains and they both give you a pat on the back for completing the ride chain. This is basically the same with Frontier Star, Coral so you don't need a heart card with Riviere to do this skill. The main difference is what you can flip. Riviere has to flip herself which is kinda sad cause I wanted to use this girl multiple times in a row, but imagine constantly spamming this XD. It's a literal death sentence for your opponent if you rush them early game. Also because she needs 3 g units face up (including herself), you'll need to save Riviere for the middle game in order to make full use of her (if they aren't dead by then). I like this idea since I generally use the Cray Elemental g units which turn Riviere's 10k base into an advantage (deck profile coming soon). It's more likely that the reason they went with the G Persona Blast is because Top Idol, Riviere is a Persona Blast, but that effect can be used a maximum of three times so like, why didn't they just make this card a G Blaster? Well, whatever, it's not like your opponent should be surviving the 2nd stride of this anyway so. I'm not saying I don't like this, I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!! But it could have been a tiny bit better. Should I get to her support? Yeah!!!!!

Remember Arboros's G1? Yep.

This girl is called "Hearty Dance, Courasche" and she is basically the G1 Arboros for Riviere.

"[ACT][VG][Choose a RG named "Bermuda Triangle Cadet, Riviere" and put it into your soul] Search your deck for a "Mermaid Idol, Riviere" or "Super Idol, Riviere" reveal it, put it to your hand, and shuffle your deck. If you put "Mermaid Idol, Riviere" into your hand, Ride it as Stand"

So it's okay. I don't know why they include the G2 for these things at all but eventually I'll find the reason why if you just want to get the ride chain right. This card could have been better but this is also fine. Thank god it is a C so there is that. Oh well. It's something, could've been better. BUT I DON'T WANT AN "It's something" TYPE OF CARD! I WANT AN "I will definitely take out x card for this card OMG!!!!" TYPE OF CARD! sigh.

This girl is called "Lunchmaker, Aika"! Not a hard to forget name XD and she is almost Lyrica for Riviere.

Flavour text (brace yourselves): "I should put many of the side dishes that Rivie likes~ *music note*" SHE CALLS HER RIVIE!! OMGGGGGG I CALL RIVIERE RIVI SO, CLOSE ENOUGH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, let's go into her effect

"[AUTO]: [Choose a card from your hand and put it into your soul] When this unit is placed on RG, if you have a Grade 2 or greater vanguard with "Riviere" in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, draw a card."

Not a bad card, sets up your Riviere soul and gives you a draw, it would be better than Lyrica if she had one more skill, however I'm sure that would be "too much" for Riviere. This card is one I'm using definitely. Also, she starts everything off when you have "Super Idol, Rivi" on your VG which is generally when I start rushing anyway so this restriction isn't weird, however it might interfere with my rushing unless I draw into something else I guess. This isn't a bad card however one more skill would have been nice. 

That concludes all the G1 Support Riviere will probably be getting this set so. I give this support a 6/10. It does what Riviere now does and fixes the Ride chain so, nothing special and nothing unexpected so, it's a fine G1 support although my G1 space is gonna need some fixing and I don't wanna take out Shizuku, but if I have to I will. 

Time for the last support revealed for Riviere for now!

This girl is called "Limpid Chorus, Meirin" AND YO IS THAT THE FIN RIVIERE WEARS??? AND WHAT ABOUT THAT DRESS TOO????!!!!! She is like super adorable though

Before the full translation, it was just if you had a Super Idol, Riviere on your VG and that sucked so I'm happy it also included soul. Also this Super Idol, Rivi restriction.... For all you people who prefer to have Trois on your VG, GO HARD!!!! Once again, this card starts off when you have the G2 Rivi on your VG so this card supports rushing at the G2 stage. Makes me wonder if we will get another g2 and a g3 that also supports rushing or similar fighting styles. The CC1 SC1 is kinda weird since other than Top Idol, Rivi, Rising Star, Trois and some strides, this cards CC1 won't be needed, if this card also allowed you to draw a card, THAT WOULD BE RR WORTHY!!!! SC is obviously so you can try and SC a Rivi for Legendary Idol. Overall this card isn't that bad! Flute, for me, is definitely getting replaced for this card! Not much else is to be said really.

That was all for the Riviere support that was revealed. I hope for another G2 and a G3 and I'll be satisfied with this set, now to wait for the extra Coral support! And Pacifica and basically everything coming in this set. 

One other card that was revealed was the Trial deck G Guard

"Chouchou, Pallfy"

This G Guard is basically the Ichibyoshi G Guard which almost fits Bermuda perfectly! Yeah, Nasha is definitely going! Not much to be said, a really good TD G Guard! Which also might hint at what Chouchou is also about but we will wait until next week and see.
